Accepting these terms
These terms apply when you access or use Ordovola. By creating an account, using an organization workspace or using a public confirmation link, you agree to them. If you use Ordovola for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Who may use Ordovola
You must be legally capable of entering into these terms and must use Ordovola only for a lawful business or professional purpose. Organization administrators are responsible for deciding who may access their workspace and what permissions those users receive.
What Ordovola provides
Ordovola helps organizations manage catalogue items, staff availability, appointments, rentals, reservations, scheduling conflicts, customer timing confirmations and operational earnings projections.
Ordovola is a coordination tool. It does not process payments, guarantee that a customer will attend or return an item, or provide accounting, tax, legal or other professional advice. Schedule and earnings information depends on the data entered by users.
Accounts and security
Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in method and keep access limited to authorized people. You are responsible for activity performed through your account or organization workspace. Contact support promptly if you believe an account or workspace has been accessed without authorization.
Organization and customer data
Organizations retain their rights in the information they enter. They give Ordovola permission to host, process and display that information only as needed to operate, secure and support the service. Each organization is responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of its data, for having authority to enter customer information, and for providing any notices required for its use of that information.
Public confirmation links
Appointment arrival, rental pickup and rental return links are separate, reusable bearer links and do not expire automatically. Anyone who receives a valid link may view its limited schedule information and submit or change the relevant timing response. Organizations must share these links carefully. Cancelling the related reservation makes its confirmation links unavailable.
Acceptable use
You must not use Ordovola to:
- break the law, infringe another person’s rights or process personal information without appropriate authority;
- access another organization’s workspace, bypass security controls, discover confirmation tokens or test vulnerabilities without written permission;
- disrupt the service, distribute malicious code or generate automated traffic that unreasonably burdens the service;
- misrepresent your identity, send deceptive confirmations or use schedules and customer details for harassment, spam or unrelated profiling.
Privacy and browser storage
The Privacy information page explains how the current service handles information. The Cookies and browser storage page explains the necessary storage used for authentication, security and preferences.
Ordovola intellectual property
Ordovola and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software, interface, branding and documentation, excluding organization and customer data. Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, sell, sublicense or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Third-party services
Ordovola relies on services including Google Firebase, optional Google sign-in, Resend for organization-enabled transactional confirmation email and Twilio for organization-enabled transactional WhatsApp confirmations. Those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices. Ordovola is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control, but will use reasonable care when selecting and configuring service providers.
Availability and changes to the service
Ordovola may change, maintain or temporarily suspend parts of the service to improve functionality, address security issues or meet legal requirements. No specific uptime or support-response commitment applies unless it is set out in a separate written agreement.
Ending use or restricting access
You may stop using Ordovola at any time and may contact support about closing an account. Ordovola may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a serious breach of these terms, protect the service or its users, or comply with law. Where appropriate and legally permitted, Ordovola will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
Service disclaimer
Ordovola is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Ordovola does not promise that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free, or that user-entered schedules, prices, projections and confirmations will be complete or accurate. Nothing in these terms limits a warranty or other right that applicable law does not allow to be limited.
Responsibility and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ordovola is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from inaccurate user-entered data, improperly shared confirmation links, customer actions, connectivity problems or third-party systems outside Ordovola’s reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Changes to these terms
Ordovola may update these terms when the service or applicable requirements change. Material changes will be published with a new revision date and, where required, additional notice or acceptance will be requested. Mandatory rights that apply to you remain unaffected.
Applicable law and other agreements
These terms are subject to applicable law and do not restrict rights that cannot legally be waived. Any separately signed agreement governing an organization’s use of Ordovola takes precedence to the extent it conflicts with these terms. Courts and authorities remain competent wherever applicable law requires.
